Yet another round of MC optimisation: MC features an internal editor which can
be started by F4. If you decativate it because you want to use vi or nano
instead, F4 will still work. By default, vi is called on the box, but
exporting EDITOR so it points to another editor of your choice will get you
the combination of file manager and editor you desire. :-)

Switching off this feature saves another 86 KB in the main binary.

Fourth and final part of MC package optimisation:
  * Online help is a separate menuconfig option now. If chosen, the file will
    be copied from the source to the package directory, otherwise the file
    will be removed. This option does not yield a recompile.
  * Syntax highlighting is a separate menuconfig option now. If chosen, the
    main binary will contain hard-coded syntax highlighting definitions. This
    option yields a complete recompile, if changed, because a conditional
    patch must be applied to exclude the highlighting code from the binary.
  * Both new menuconfig options have a default of "y", because this is how it
    used to be all the time.

  - Editor tab width changed from 8 to 4
  - Learn keys set to values which putty sends with TERM=xterm in telnet and
    ssh sessions. The assumption here is that most users probably use Putty
    on WinXP as their preferred terminal client. Other users can still create
    their own ~/.mc/ini in debug.cfg or otherwise, assuming that if they are
    Linux users who need this, they probably are more geek-ish than Windows
    users.

Remove 143 KB of unnecessary syntax highlighting definitions in 22 files,
because MC 4.5.0 only supports hard-coded syntax highlighting (big string in
edit/syntax.c). Syntax definitions were externalised CVS version 1.17 of that
file, but in 4.5.0 we have version 1.11 which is three years older.

The fascinating thing is that nobody ever complained about this.

  1. I added the missing espeak component for dtmfbox as a own sweet
     package. We are using the latest version 1.27
     Alexander: the ds-mod for mirror-uploading can be found on
                http://mcknight.ath.cx/dsmod/
  2. I modified dtmfbox' Config.in to support espeak. (simple DEPEND 
     and SELECT)
  3. I modified dtmfbox' script/script_funcs.sh script to look for an 
     espeak installation (which is under /usr/bin/speak)
  4. set some svn:executable
  5. When Chuck Norris calls 1-900 numbers, he doesnt get charged. He 
     holds up the phone and money falls out.
