Chip-Codename

Chip-Details

The Miami is a WiSoC, a WLAN SoC with an additional 1500 MHz Quad Core CPU and a 1500 MHz NPU.

Qualcomm calls it the Immersive Home 3210 Wi-Fi 7 Platform[1].

AVM uses it in the FRITZ!Box 7690, together with two Waikiki WLAN SoCs.

The Miami appears to be a more recent but stripped down Hawkeye with these differences:

  • 1500 MHz Quad Core ARM Cortex A53 instead of 2200 MHz
  • Only one 1500 MHz NPU instead of two
  • Designed for Wi-Fi 7 instead of Wi-Fi 6

The SBL article shows that the Hawkeye and the Miami have similar boot partition layout.
