Details

avm_uimg_update performs a Cable Modem Software Upgrade from an UIMG file.
It is an AVM addition to the multi-call binary docsis_dl_box, introduced in fw 7.24 on Puma7 models.

avm_uimg_update is called from the ATOM side by the Inter-CPU glue daemon pumaglued.

avm_uimg_update - Perform CM SW Upgrade from UIMG

Usage:

avm_uimg_update <sector> [<filename>]

  sector           Destination sector (1 or 2) on Flash.
  filename         filename of UIMG file.

The action itself is performed by the SWDL_AVM_MGR_UIMG_Update function in libcrypto_docsis.so.
