Function: | Automatical LED dimming daemon script. |
Goto: Dependencies - Model-Matrix - Symbols - SMW-Browser
Details
grx-ambient-light is an automatical LED dimming daemon script.
It adapts the intensity of the LEDs to the ambient light measured by a sensor, if enabled.
See the CONFIG_LED_DIMM_AUTO article for details.
The sensor data is read from /dev/ttyLTQ1
, 2 bytes per value, 3 values per second.
The script does a lot of fancy calculation to mask out short changes and adapt to the 0-100% range of the dimmer.
The result is then sent to the hui.ko module by writing it to /sys/kernel/hui/ambient_light
once per second.
