This section is a simple blog about recent functional changes to the Wiki and its backend. This originally would allow for anonymous comments, replies and votings (likes, etc). However, permitting anonymous comments would be an invitation to spammers, so they are disabled.

Develop: The SVN-Server page now shows the status of the hosted repositories and their activity. A further step to implement the bridging of the fork masters.

Develop: BoxMatrix now provides an own SVN-Server. The first hosted project is a complete backup of the passed Freetz SVN. You can now update your old builds to the latest state of Freetz before it went a Github only fork.

Develop: The new Firmware-History now lists flags for each scanned file for telnetd and debug.cfg support, as well as support for unsigned Firmware.

Develop: Added a new section Firmware-History which collects per model scans of all known current and past Firmware, Labor, Recovery and Source-Code releases, and some hand crafted Dumps. It is an overview of all Firmware-History articles, but you can reach each of them easier in the Overview section of each Box-Models article at the end of the info box.

Develop: Added a new section AVM-Tarballs with daily scan results of currently 227 source code tarballs. Besides the HWR-Names the second output of the new source code scanner. This new section attempts to find out the versions of the Kernel, BusyBox, uClibc, GCC and Buildtoot of each tarball. Besides this all these elements are listed, if possible, currently more than 1000 listings.

Models: Created separate articles for the 6820v1, 6820v2, 6890v1 and 6890v2, and comparison articles for the 6820 and 6890, since both models got a v2 with a new modem. Not much difference to see there yet, but room for research. If you own any of these models then please help with uncensored supportdata!

Models: The Firmware-Scans section of each Box-Models article now contains links to public listings, if wrapped filesystems are used multiple listings (Example). Additionally the var.tar archive which prefills the tmpfs is listed, as well as zip containers for all Labor-Scans. Besides the listings there's the output of strings for the unpacked Kernel and for BusyBox for each firmware for research.

Models: Thanks to the new source code scanner the HWR-Names list now is finished and self updating daily. All entries are approved by scans except the Annex A version of the 5010 and the 6460. Please send uncensored supportdata if you own one of these models to fill this gaps.

Crons:Added another 50 tarball to the new source code scanner, summing up to 230+ scanned tarballs.

Crons: Wrote a source code scanner which extracts and scans selected files in all 180+ tarballs. As a first result here is a daily updated index of all kernel files in all tarballs, inluding their frequency. The same index filtered for the term avm can be found here.
