Printed PCB antennas, part of the main PCB, planar etched copper structures.
The advantage of PCB-Trace antennas is zero production costs, but they take longer development and testing time.
Other disadvantages are the space requirements on the PCB, and the possible need for a redesign on PCB revisions.
PCB-Trace BlueTooth antennas are alsways connected directly to the BlueTooth SoC, no IPEX, Murata or Hirose socket.
