Details

modules.builtin.modinfo is a database of modinfo for all modules built into the Kernel.
It is created by kbuild when the Kernel is compiled.

Besides # prepended comments each line looks like this:

<module> <modinfo-line>

Modules are specified with the path relative to the kernel root /lib/modules/<kernel-version>. The redundant .ko
extension is NOT omitted from the <module> name here.

All aliases from modules.builtin.modinfo are collected by depmod to the Kmod-Bin indexed modules.builtin.alias.bin.
Besides this modinfo could be compiled with support for modules.builtin.modinfo.

Neither modules.builtin.modinfo nor modules.builtin.alias.bin are used in FRITZ!OS.
Both are named here for the completness of the depmod / kmod documentation.

Excerpt from the kbuild manual and its text version:

modules.builtin.modinfo contains modinfo from all modules that are built into the kernel. 
Unlike modinfo of a separate module, all fields are prefixed with module name.
