RF-Connector[edit]

Details[edit]

An RF-Testpoint is not really a connector and is used to calibrate AVM RF hardware. It is an easy to find unisolated
solder coated ring for the signal ground with a little hotspot in the middle for the RF signal. It is often used for the
DECT chip, which nearly always connects its onboard antennas directly.
Unlike the Murata and Hirose-Connector it can not disconnect the antennas while a probe is connected to it.
RF-Testpoints are usually located on the PCB back, in some rare cases also on the PCB front.
