Info
In FRITZ!OS watchdogs are used to monitor the health of services. Each higher AVM daemon process registers a watchdog, and has to trigger it cyclically to show the daemon is still alife. If this trigger does not happen within time the watchdog knows that the respective process is hanging, possibly rendering the entire system instable, and reboots. Watchdogs are managed by libwdt.so.

This list only covers watchdogs of processes which were running at the moment when supportdata was captured, mostly daemons. But there are also many "one shot" executables which use watchdogs. See which programs require libwdt.so.

AVM-Watchdogs[edit]

Daily updated index of all AVM watchdogs found scanning Supportdata-Probes. Last update: 2022-07-06 05:29 GMT.
The label (watchdog) in the Watchdog column shows there are other objects in this wiki using this name.
The Mod column shows the amount of models using the respective watchdog. Click the column header to sort by this number.
Note that the list of watchdogs is pretty new in supportdata, so the amount of models covered is pretty small.
The Inst column shows the amount of instances of the respective watchdog, summed up for both Linuxes on 64xx/65xx models.
