Info
Freetz is an open source project which allows to modify the Firmware of most Box-Models. In opposite to OpenWRT it is no replacement OS but modifies the AVM firmware. Since the resulting images contain copyrighted nonfree AVM parts they are not freely distributable. That's why Freetz is distributed as a collection of scripts and patches with a comfortable menuconfig interface, and everyone has to build own images on some Linux platform.

Freetz runs on most Box-Models, bot not on all. Here is a list of models currently supported by Freetz trunk, which is the current developer version, and the only version which supports recent Firmware and new models, and which is still maintained. See the Freetz-Releases for more info.

Freetz-Models[edit]

This list has been moved to the Box-Models section and is now called Moddable-Models.
