DST removes one hour in late winter or early spring and adds this hour again in late autumn.
The idea behind this is to have an extra hour of daylight during the summer months by getting up an hour earlier.
DST is mostly used far from the Equator, where seasons have a stronger effect. Since seasons differ on the northern and
southern hemispheres of the earth the dates of the swicthing are regulated per Timezone.
