Details
PDF (Portable Document Format) is a format developed by the graphics specialist Adobe to store printable pages.
The goal of this format is to have a target plattform and hardware independent way to store and reproduce documents.
PDF is a meta format which may contain text, pixel and vector graphics and fonts, annotations, form fields and rich content.
It can be printed out with pretty much every system with predictable results.
FRITZ!OS
PDF is the target format for a Fax received by faxd after conversion with libconverttopdf.so.
It is stored on Internal-Storage or USB-Storage and / or is attached to an Email if Fax2Mail is activated.
Besides this AVM uses PDF for all documents in the Downloads sections of all Box-Models and Accessories.
Since PDF can be printed out in predictable size many manuals contain Driling-Templates for Wall-Mounting.
