Details
factorydefault.pib is the single Powerline default PIB in older FRITZ!OS for FRITZ!Powerline models.
Background: Initially FRITZ!Powerline models with FRITZ!OS came with a single default PIB file factorydefault.pib. When
AVM started to produce different HWSubRevisions of some models they used one default PIB file per HWSubRevision named
factorydefault-1.pib, factorydefault-2.pib, factorydefault-3.pib.
Later they provided double default PIB files for CE / EN, named factorydefault-ce.pib and factorydefault-en.pib, also here
followed by variants per HWSubRevision named factorydefault-1-ce.pib, factorydefault-1-en.pib, factorydefault-2-ce.pib,
factorydefault-2-en.pib. Which default PIB naming variants are used differs per model and firmware (updated 2024-11-02):
- 540e - de (5.58+), int (6.20+), merged (6.36+), subrev 1/2
- single (5.58-6.50), single-1 (6.20-6.92), single-2 (6.20-6.92), double-1 (6.98-7.15), double-2 (6.98-7.15)
- 546e - de (5.50+), int (5.54+), merged (6.50+), subrev 1
