Details
Webmail is a service which provides HTTP / HTTPS access to an Email account.
It is not standardized but an idea to access Email without requiring an Email client.
Most Webmail providers offer advertizement driven Freemail accounts, often bundeled with further services.
But there are also standalone solutions to host an own Webmail service.
Like any other Email client Webmail also maintains an address book, which permits to store information beyond the
name and email address of each contact.
FRITZ!OS
FRITZ!OS only supports Webmail services if they offer classic Email servers. Many do.
But the address book of some Webmail services can be synchronized as an Online-Phonebook.
