Details
vCard, also known as VCF (Virtual Contact File), is a text format to store contact data.
Typical filename extensions are .vcf or .vcard.
vCards can be attached to Emails or MMS and are also used with the CardDAV protocol.
The offiicial MIME type for a vCard is text/vcard.
FRITZ!OS
FRITZ!OS uses the vCard format in conjunction with the CardDAV protocol.
