Details
avm_dsl_diagd is the Broadcom DSL diagnosis daemon. It is not used by the system.
It is a Production-Test helper and likely started by temporary in-factory test scripts.
avm_dsl_diagd detaches from the calling process and uses libxdslctl.so to activate the diagnosis mode of the DSL drivers.
This will enable the xdsldiaglogs file in procfs which provides the binary communication with the DSL subsystem.
This stream is written to /var/dsldata.bin, a qucikly growing binary.
