Details

cnss_diag is the diagnosis tool for the Qualcomm ConNectivity SubSystem daemon cnssdaemon.

It uses the genetlink group AVMGGRP_CNSS_GENL through libnl-genl-3.so.

Fw 7.28 help:

usage: cnss_diag [options] 

Options:

-f, --logfile (Currently file path is fixed)
-c, --console (prints the logs in the console)
-s, --silent (No print will come when logging)
-S, --syslog (Prints will logs in syslog)
-p, --parse Diag log to syslog
-q, --qxdm  (prints the logs in the qxdm)
-x, --qxdm_sync (QXDM log packet format)
-l, --qxdm_sync_log_file (QXDM log packet format QMDL2 file)
-d, --debug  (more prints in logcat, check logcat 
-s ROME_DEBUG, example to use: -q -d or -c -d)
-b --buffer_size (example to use : -b 64(in KBs)
-m --cnss_diag_config_file_loc (example to use : -m /data/misc/cnss_diag.conf)
-u, --Write fw/host logs to a local buffer
-w, --This option along with '-u' facilitates to write decoded fw/host logs to buffer
-D, --This option will disable FW logs to display on console

The options can also be given in the abbreviated form --option=x or -o x.
The options can be given in any order
