Details
dsldiagd is the Broadcom DSL diagnosis server.
By default it is not runnig. It has to be started explicitely and detaches from the calling shell.
7581 fw 7.17:

It installs a crash handler and serves 3 UDP ports for IPv4:

These ports serve a MS-DOS client software by Broadcom which connects the box like this:
