Overview[edit]
The Magenta SmartHome-Tür-Fensterkontakt Magnetisch (in english smarthome door / window sensor, magnetic) is a DECT-ULE / HANFUN indoor sensor to detect the opening of a door or window by the german Telekom which is compatible to FRITZ!Box models which support HANFUN-Devices.
It is manufactured by Sercomm and distributed by Brodos. While the initial list price was 24.99 Euro, it grew later.
You may get it below 20 Euro today, or pay 40 or more.
This magnetical variant uses a magnetic counterpart to detect the closed position of a door or window.
An alternative using an optical detector is the SmartHome-Tür-Fensterkontakt Optisch.
An alternative from AVM is the new FRITZ!DECT 350.
