Details
CONFIG_SQUASHFS_CRYPT activates suoport for encrypted SquashFS partitions.
This is used by the FRITZ!Media 8020, 8040 and 8260 set-top-boxes.
The decrypter is implemented in squashfs/inode.c, in the GPL-Browser directories linked below.
The following encryption and compression combinations are supported;
- SQUASHFS_MINOR_AES_LZMA
- SQUASHFS_MINOR_CBC_LZMA
- SQUASHFS_MINOR_AES_ZIP
- SQUASHFS_MINOR_CBC_ZIP
The decrytion key is 16 bytes long and stored in SerialNumber (bootenv) on these models.
There's also CONFIG_SQUASHFS_CRYPT_KEY_LEN.
