Details

This article collects info on all init executables which are not busybox.

There is more than one solution so they have to be explained per model / model category.

Realtek

The RTL86 secondary Linux on the 7520v2 uses a Realtek init executable which simplified performs these actions:

• PATH=/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/etc/scripts
• /etc/rc-first
• /bin/flash check
• /etc/rc
• /etc/inittab which just contains console:unknown:/bin/sh

From the fw 7.30 strings:

RTL-Research

Note that research on the RTL86 chipset and its Linux and drivers is very difficult and the results are highly unfinished.
