Function: | Inter-CPU remote log receiver running on the Hawkeye of a 5590. |
Goto: Dependencies - Model-Matrix - Symbols - SMW-Browser
Details
upx-hwk-tcp-recvd is an Inter-CPU remote log receiver daemon running on the Hawkeye of a 5590.
It is running in 3 instances to receive crash, panic and user log data from the Falcon's main Linux.
It is a notify type supervisor wrapper script creating these processes on a 5590 fw 7.29:
tcpsvd -c 1 -C 1 [fe80::1%ppp0] 4344 timeout -t 15 cat - > /dev/tffs_panic2 tcpsvd -c 1 -C 1 [fe80::1%ppp0] 4345 timeout -t 15 cat - > /dev/tffs_crash2 tcpsvd -c 1 -C 1 [fe80::1%ppp0] 4346 timeout -t 15 cat - > /dev/tffs_user2
The timeout / cat invocation happens in upx-hwk-tcp-recvd-prog.sh:
The /dev/tffs*
targets are a temporary fallback solution. With fw 7.39+ it will look like this:
tcpsvd -c 1 -C 1 [fe80::1%ppp0] 4344 timeout -t 15 cat - > /proc/avm/panic2.log tcpsvd -c 1 -C 1 [fe80::1%ppp0] 4345 timeout -t 15 cat - > /proc/avm/crash2.log tcpsvd -c 1 -C 1 [fe80::1%ppp0] 4346 timeout -t 15 cat - > /proc/avm/user2.log
The client using these services is upx-prx-tcp-send running on Falcon.
The Dependencies show the 3 services creating the 3 processes above, here which arguments are passed:
cd /lib/systemd grep upx-hwk-tcp-recvd upx-* upx-hwk-kpanic-recvd.service:ExecStart=/bin/upx-hwk-tcp-recvd upx-hwk-kpanic-recvd 4344 /proc/avm/panic2.log upx-hwk-ucrash-recvd.service:ExecStart=/bin/upx-hwk-tcp-recvd upx-hwk-ucrash-recvd 4345 /proc/avm/crash2.log upx-hwk-ulog-recvd.service:ExecStart=/bin/upx-hwk-tcp-recvd upx-hwk-ulog-recvd 4346 /proc/avm/user2.log
