IPTV is the term for (close to) realtime streaming of linear Live-TV through the internet.
This typically covers a base set of channels which is extensible by a modular set of addon channel-bundles.
Streams may be crypted, playing them requires the respective decryption hardware, ie. a Set-Top-Box.

FRITZ!OS
Some German ISPs provide IPTV, initially only as an optional addon pay-service to their internet contracts.
This was due to complex additional (partly multicast) routes, which could only be set up via TR-069.
Obviously this problem is past and today you may order their IPTV services regardless of the ISP you use.

If the FRITZ!Box detects IPTV capability it enables a Live-TV link in the title bar of the Webinterface, see this article.
This is not really a FRITZ!OS feature but a link to a bookmarkable comfort page maintained by AVM, pointing to one of:

Each of these Javascript generated lists only covers uncrypted RTP streams, which could be played by video players like VLC.
Crypted streams are not listed there, since they can only be played using the respective Set-Top-Box.
