usage: avmlogd avmlogd [options] | showlog

options:
  -?                 - print this help
  -c INTEGER         - console loglevel. (2)
  -l INTEGER         - logbuffer loglevel. (6)
  -b INTEGER         - log buffer size in multiple of pagesize. (8)
  -f                 - run in forground. (NOTSET)
  -s                 - stop daemon. (NOTSET)
  -p STRING          - Pidfile. ("/var/run/avmlogd.pid")
  -U INTEGER         - loglevel for ubik2 messages. (6)
  -D STRING          - switch debug logs on. (NULL)

showlog: show log buffer

The Loglevel states that all messages with smaller or equal priority are accepted.
The loglevel can be passed numerical or textual:

0 = emerg[ency]
1 = alert
2 = crit[ical]
3 = err[or]
4 = warn[ing]
5 = notice
6 = info
7 = debug
