Details

ecmh (Easy Cast du Multi Hub) is a daemon that relays or aggregates IPv6 multicast packets.

ecmh is not used in FRITZ!OS.

-f, --foreground           don't daemonize
-u, --user username        drop (setuid+setgid) to user after startup
-i, --upstream interface   upstream interface
-o, --downstream interface   downstream interface
-v, --verbose              Verbose Operation
-V, --version              Report version and exit
-1, --mld1only             Act as a MLDv1 only host
-2, --mld2only             Act as a MLDv2 only host (*)
-p, --promisc              Make interfaces promisc
-P, --nopromisc            Don't make interfaces promisc (default)

* = RFC incompliant as it ignores MLDv1 reports completely
Recommended is running without the 'only' options as that is
the mode allows fallback from MLDv2 to MLDv1 as per the RFC
