Details

rc-first is the early boot script of the RTL86 Linux.

It is executed by init (lincmd) before the main boot script rc and initiates procfs, sysfs, ramfs, hotplugging and devices.

fw 7.30 simplified:

mount -t proc proc /proc
mount -t ramfs ramfs  /var
mount -t sysfs sysfs /sys

echo /sbin/mdev > /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug
mount -t tmpfs mdev /dev
mknod /dev/adsl0 c 100 0
mdev -s
