Details

sntpcli is a SNTP client daemon.
It is started by ctlmgr and uses a builtin server list by default:

usage: sntpcli [options]

options:
  -?                 - print this help
  -s                 - stop daemon. (NOTSET)
  -c                 - just check all the builtin NTP-servers. (NOTSET)
  -s STRING          - use this specific NTP-server.
  -r                 - use a random NTP-server. (NOTSET)
  -f                 - run foreground service. (NOTSET)
  -p STRING          - Pidfile. ("/var/run/sntpcli.pid")
  -D STRING          - switch debug logs on. (FUNC)

start server:           sntpcli
stop server:            sntpcli -s
check ntp-servers:      sntpcli -c
use single ntp-server:  sntpcli -h <server>
use random ntp-server:  sntpcli -r

killall -9 sntpcli  # from prepare_fwupgrade
