Details
CONFIG_UNIQUE_PASSWD is only relevant for Telekom-Derivatives.
Background: Early Telekom hardware always had the default password 0000
, regardless of its manufacturer.
Later Telekom wanted unique passwords per device, printed on the type plate.
AVM placed it in webgui_pass during production and set CONFIG_UNIQUE_PASSWD
to y
. This covers 5 models:
Long time later AVM adopted this to models of the FRITZ!Box-Family, also using webgui_pass, but without using theCONFIG_UNIQUE_PASSWD
variable further.
Model-Matrix
Daily updated index of the presence and value of this variable for each model. Last update: 2025-01-30 05:06 GMT.
Showing all models using this variable. Click any column header (click-wait-click) to sort the list by the respective data.
The (main/scrpn/boot/arm/prx/atom/rtl)
label in the Model
column shows which CPU is meant for Multi-Linux models.
Note that this list is merged from Firmware-Probes of all known AVM firmware for a model, including Recovery.exe and Labor-Files.
If the 'Value' column contains '<comp>' the variable is computed at runtime. '<empty>' means the variable is present but empty (rare).
Multiple values typically show a conditional static assignment or different values in different firmware.
