Details
wlantimectrl logs and performs actions on time controlled WLAN enable / disable.
It is called by the ctlmgr plugin libwlan.so with the argument on
or off
.
Fw 6.55 help:
root@fritz99:/var/mod/root# wlantimectrl Usage: /bin/wlantimectrl {on|off} ------------------------------------------------------------ on : WLAN was switch on by time control off: WLAN was switch off by time control
The on
or off
operation is logged to wlantimectrl.log:
operation=$operation date=$date
$operation
is the argument passed to wlantimectrl, $date
is passed by libwlan.so.
Actions are only performed if CONFIG_PRODUKT = Fritz_Box_WLAN_Repeater
, which is FRITZ!WLAN Repeater N/G.
The fun fact is this script is/was installed on 80 models, but not on the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater N/G.
So this was an old fix for a problem already solved. For the sake of completeness the action explained:
#------------------------------------------------------------------------------ # Descr. : For product FBox Repeater we have to reset the PCM link after # time control ON. This is a workaround, because sometimes the PCM # slot can switch and touchdisplay and audio will not work anymore. #------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This only happens when switched on. You see most is already commented out but you get the picture:
wait_wlan_init 60 write_log "WLAN init=$?" if [ $? ] ; then write_log "Reinit PCM link" echo pcmlink_pcmreinit >/dev/debug #write_log "Stop PCM link" #killall touchdisplay #killall audiod #killall playerd #rmmod nlr_audio #sleep 5 #rmmod pcmlink #sleep 5 #write_log "Restart PCM link" #modprobe pcmlink nlrmode=1 c55x_hexfile=/lib/modules/c55fw.hex #modprobe nlr_audio #touchdisplay& #audiod& fi
