Details
avmipc_send_event sends an avmipc event to the AVMIPC-Datastore.
fw 7.29 help:
root@fritz2:/var/mod/root# avmipc_send_event -? usage: avmipc_send_event [options] eventname [event-parameter] options: -? - print this help -D STRING - switch debug logs on. (FUNC)
Examples
So far this is only used in showpcpinfo to trigger the libpcp_dump event:
avmipc_send_event libpcp_dump ... cat /var/tmp/pcpserver cat /var/tmp/*.libpcp.txt # simplified
Let's see all these dumped libpcp files:
root@fritz:/var/mod/root# ls -l /var/tmp/*.libpcp.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 89 Jan 1 23:35 /var/tmp/ctlmgr-1861.libpcp.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 101 Jan 1 23:35 /var/tmp/dsld-2137.libpcp.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 117 Jan 1 23:35 /var/tmp/multid-1864.libpcp.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 87 Jan 1 23:35 /var/tmp/pcpd-2138.libpcp.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 88 Jan 1 23:35 /var/tmp/voipd-2507.libpcp.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 87 Jan 1 23:35 /var/tmp/vpnd-1867.libpcp.txt
Wow, all these daemons dumped their libpcp usage, really?
root@fritz:/var/mod/root# aicmd avmipcd datastore query libpcp_dump @libpcp_dump: local:voipd-pcp-2507 local:dsld-pcp-2137 local:pcpd-pcp-2138 local:multid-pcp-1864 local:ctlmgr-pcp-1861 local:vpnd-pcp-1867
Really! They are all subscribed listeners to the libpcp_dump event, likely by using libavmpcp.so.
