Details
libasecutils.so is the ASEC databasee server API.
libasecutils is the server API for untrustedd, abstracting highly scalable messaging protocols.
untrustedd performs the database handling, while initialization, logging and messagimg is done by this library.
libasec.so is the client API, which also uses the messaging engine of libasecutils.

A cross reference shows where functions of a library are used in the system, very helpful to find out the purpose of a library.

Nanomsg
This library includes the nanomsg-ng (nng) library. Citing the original nanomsg website:
Nanomsg is a simple high-performance implementation of several "scalability protocols". These scalability protocols
are light-weight messaging protocols which can be used to solve a number of very common messaging patterns, such as
request/reply, publish/subscribe, surveyor/respondent, and so forth. These protocols can run over a variety of transports
such as TCP, UNIX sockets, and even WebSocket.
Nanomsg has largely been superceded by the nanomsg-ng (nng) project, it supports a significant superset of capabilities.
In fw 7.19 when libasecutils.so was introduced AVM exported all nanomsg-ng functions, more than 1000 superflouus Symbols.
This was changed with the next release / labor so this library now completely abstracts / hides nanomsg-ng.
Source
The names of source files compiled into an executable often help to understand function blocks (and show gaps in the docs).
