Info
A Recovery.exe detects the model it connects to by its HWRevision variable. Since the Bootloader-Environment does not store the product name most recoveries contain a list of names for each HWRevision to display the detected model. For numbers above 190 AVM stopped growing the list. Fortunately recoveries for higher numbers contain the HWRevision and product name they are built for to grow this list further. As a third source all rc.init files in the rootfs image in all recoveries and firmware images are scanned for HWRevision sensitive assignments of the CONFIG_PRODUKT_NAME. The fourth and most up to date input comes from the hardware configuration files found in all AVM-Tarballs. And as a fifth source Supportdata-Probes are scanned for HWRevision to CONFIG_PRODUKT_NAME mappings to fill the remaining gaps.

HWR-Names[edit]

Daily updated HWR index found scanning 6,292 firmwares, labors and recoveries, 492 tarballs and 925 supportdata probes. Last update: 2024-11-21 05:35 GMT.
The Maj column shows the CONFIG_VERSION_MAJOR of the respective model, if it exists.
The Off column shows the offset of HWRevision minus CONFIG_VERSION_MAJOR, if both are numerical.
The Tbl column shows the amount of HWR tables in recoveries containing the respective entry.
The Rec column shows the amount of recoveries containing detectable info to create the respective entry.
The Ini column shows the amount of HWR sensitive product name assignments found in rc.init files.
The Src column shows the amount of occurrences of the HWR to product name relations in AVM-Tarballs.
The Sup column shows the amount of Supportdata-Probes containing the recpective HWR to product name mapping.
If Tbl, Rec, Ini, Src and Sup are all zero then this is a manual unapproved entry.
The Display-Name column shows the name which is displayed if the respective HWR is detected.
Note that the Rec column is currently zero. Recovery scans are disabled for space reasons.

Legend:   real = existing Box-Model.   -   vapor = planned Vapor-Model.   -   ??? = not approved yet by scans.   -   bold = a Vapor-Model getting an own article.
