Details

endptd (endpoint daemon?) is a multi purpose Inter-CPU daemon for the RTL86 Linux.

It is started in the rc boot script and in startup, see the Examples.

endptd opens the named pipe /tmp/serv_fifo for communication with mpoactl and mpoad.

Note that research on the RTL86 chipset and its Linux and drivers is very difficult and the results are highly unfinished.
