Function: | inetd wrapper for ftpd. |
Goto: Dependencies - Model-Matrix - Symbols - SMW-Browser
Details
inetdftp is an inetd wrapper for ftpd.
It is launched as an inetd service, defined in inetd.conf, enabled by ftpd_control.
Simplified it calls:
ftpd [-s] -q -t 120 -m 20 -h $PRODUCT_NAME_WITHOUT_SPACES # derived from CONFIG_PRODUKT_NAME
The -s
option disables sendfile()
, it is only passed if ethtool -k <iface>
finds the scatter-gather: off
line.<iface>
is the serving network interface. It is typically the lan bridge or l2sd0 on early Puma6 FRITZ!OS running on ARM.
The -q
option disables version in banner, -t
sets the timeout to 120s, and -m
sets the maximum clients to 20.
Most important: There is no -D
option, so ftpd does not run in daemon mode here.
