Details

auracntl controls the AURA daemon aurad.

It is started by the aura hotplug script and loads the respective client plugin library into aurad if the monitored device appears
in the system.

For a FRITZ!Box USB-Host port it loads libacgenusb.so, for the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater N/G sound card it loads libacaudio.so.
AVM calls these plugins Aura Client Shared Object Files, see the help text below.

fw 7.39 help - requires aurad to be running:

root@fritz:/var/mod/root# auracntl -h

Options:
	-p [/proc/bus/usb Path of the Device (for -l & -x)]
	-n [Name of the Device]
	-m [Manufacturer]
	-s [SerialNumber]
	-t [Topology ID]
	-c [Device Class]
	-l [Aura Client Shared Object File Name] => Load Shared Object
	-u [Aura Device Handle] => Unload Device
	-x => Unload Device (specified by -p)
	-q => Quit Daemon
	-a => List all AURA Devices
	-e => Wait and show AURA Events

AURA Connection established.

If aurad is not running:

root@fritz:/var/mod/root# auracntl -h

Error: AURA Daemon not accessible!

Examples

From aura hotplug script - load device:

auracntl -p $DEVICE -c $AURACLASS -t 0x$TOPO -n "$PROD" -m "$MANU" -s "$SNUM" -l libacgenusb.so

From aura hotplug script - unload device:

auracntl -p $DEVICE -x

From aura hotplug script - stop aurad graceful:

auracntl -q

From supportdata.usb and supportdata_argo.usb:

AURA Connection established.
AURA Device List empty!
