Function: | supportdata plugin for the offload_*.ko network drivers. |
Goto: Modules - Examples - GPL-Browser - Dependencies - Model-Matrix - Symbols - SMW-Browser
Details
basis_net_offload is a supportdata plugin for the offload_*.ko network drivers.
It prints the symlink targets and file contents of /sys/kernel/offload_*
cd /sys/kernel find offload_* \ -type l \ -exec printf '\n{}\n -> ' ';' \ -exec readlink -f '{}' ';' \ -o \ -type f \ -exec printf '\n{}:\n' ';' \ -exec sed 's/^/ /' '{}' ';'
Network offload drivers use the hardware in some network cards as off-CPU (offload) accelerators.
Not exactly the same but see this to understand the principle: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TCP_offload_engine
Modules
This is a subset of the Kernel-Modules section, filtered for offload_*
modules.
Daily updated index of all kernel modules found scanning Firmware-Probes . Last update: 2024-12-22 05:48 GMT.
The label (module)
in the Module
column shows there are other objects in this wiki using this name.
The Mod
column shows the amount of models using the respective module. Click the column header to sort by this number.
You can hover or click a possible Link
in the Type
column to see the target of that link.
