Details

todo

configd announces the configd UPnP root device via SSDP which is described by configd.xml.
The description configd.xml is dynamically created by preprocessing the configd-template.xml.

fw 7.29 help:

root@fritz2:/var/mod/root# configd -?

usage: configd [options]

options:
  -? - print this help
-D STRING - switch debug logs on. (FUNC)

Plugins

configd is highly modular and is extended by plugin libraries in /usr/share/configd.
These are no Dependencies but they are optionally loaded if they are present there.

This is a subset of the Shared-Libraries section, filtered for files in /usr/share/configd:

Daily updated index of all plugin libraries found scanning Firmware-Probes . Last update: 2023-01-27 05:54 GMT.
The label (lib) in the Library column shows there are other objects in this wiki using this name.
The Mod column shows the amount of models using the respective library. Click the column header to sort by this number.
You can hover or click a possible Link in the Type column to see the target of that link.
Note that old *.a and *.la libraries have been renamed to *.so for an easier comparison.

A - in the Mod column marks manual research, the Firmware then shows where the item occurs, not the Relation.

Source

The names of source files compiled into an executable often help to understand function blocks (and show gaps in the docs).
fw 7.39 source files:

$ strings /bin/configd | grep -e '\.c$' -e '\.cpp$'

Dependencies
