AVM-Command

Goto:   Examples  -  GPL-Browser  -  Dependencies   -   Model-Matrix   -   Symbols   -   SMW-Browser

Details

lsusb is an AVM tool (!!!) to list USB devices.
It has completely different options to common lsusb implementations.

See the lsusb(8) man page and the GPL-Browser below which is something completely different.

lsusb is used by the Hotplug-Scripts aura, udev-avmwlan-usb, create_handle.sh and udev-printer-lp.

Fe 7.39 help - using -? for help and nothing else is AVM typical:

root@fritz0:/var/mod/root# lsusb -?

lsusb, mini USB device lister 1.1.1
Compiled on Aug 30 2022, 11:08:21

  Options:

  -b <n> Define bus to be scanned. (Requires -d)
  -d <n> Define device to be listed. (Requires -b)
  -f <path> Set path to USB device list [Default: /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices]
  -h <path> List device addressed by hotplug path /dev/bus/usb/x/y...
  -n Write only device count to stdout
  -N <n> Write only device count (of specific class) to stdout
  -s List device descriptor strings, too
  -x List class values in hexadecimal
  -t         Calculate unique topology value
  -v         Be verbose

On a 7150 fw 4.72 the output is the same, just the compile time is Feb 17 2009, 09:10:11.

Examples

From aura fw 7.39:

DEVENV="`lsusb -tsh $DEVICE`"

From udev-avmwlan-usb fw 7.39:

MAC_CLIENT=`lsusb -s -h $DEVICE | grep SNUM | tr -d SNUM= | tr -d "'"`

From create_handle.sh fw 7.39:

COUNT=`lsusb -n`
HUBCOUNT=`lsusb -N 9`
DUMMYCOUNT=`lsusb -N 0`

GPL-Browser

Daily updated index of all lsusb code findings on the GPL-Browser. Last update: 2024-11-17 05:19 GMT.
The Browse column points to the Path containing the respective source code on the gpl.boxmatrix.info service.
The SoC column lists the Chip-Codenames, the Model column lists the nicks of the Box-Models.
The Diff column links the comparison of the AVM Kernel to the pristine original from Kernel.org.
The Download column links the full tarball the respective directory content is extracted from.
The presence of the source does not mean it fits the respective model and architecture. See the Model-Matrix where it's used.

Dependencies

Daily updated index of all dependencies of this command. Last update: 2024-11-17 07:59 GMT.
A * in the Mod column marks info from Supportdata-Probes, which will always stay incomplete.

Daily updated index of the presence, path and size of this command for each model. Last update: 2024-11-17 06:05 GMT.
Showing all models using this command. Click any column header (click-wait-click) to sort the list by the respective data.
The (main/scrpn/boot/arm/prx/atom/rtl) label in the Model column shows which CPU is meant for Multi-Linux models.
Note that this list is merged from Firmware-Probes of all known AVM firmware for a model, including Recovery.exe and Labor-Files.
