Details

testavmcounter_mac is a commandline frontend to test libavmcounter_mac.so.

This library collects and caches neighbour MAC addresses from avmcounterd kernel extensions.

fw 7.90 help:

usage: testavmcounter_mac [options]

options:
  -?                 - print this help
  -k                 - keep mac address (pre fill config from cache). (NOTSET)
  -c                 - add mac addresses from neighbour cache. (NOTSET)
  -u                 - update (no delete of old mac addresses). (NOTSET)
  -d                 - enable debug flags neighbourcache and avmcounter_mac. (NOTSET)
  -r                 - remove all mac addresses. (NOTSET)
  -R                 - remove all mac addresses immediately. (NOTSET)
  -D STRING          - switch debug logs on. (FUNC)

testavmcounter_mac [options] [mac address ...]

option 'k' and 'u' will produce the same result

show values:
   testavmcounter_mac
remove all mac addresses:
   testavmcounter_mac -r
set only mac addresses from neighbour cache, remove all other
   testavmcounter_mac -c
keep existing mac addresses and add a mac address:
   testavmcounter_mac -k 00:01:02:03:04:05
   testavmcounter_mac -u 00:01:02:03:04:05
add mac addresses from neighbour cache and keep existing mac addresses:
   testavmcounter_mac -c -u
   testavmcounter_mac -c -k
   testavmcounter_mac -c -k -u
