Chip-Codename

Chip-Details

The Puma7 is the successor of the Puma6, with a faster ATOM and DOCSIS 3.1 support.

The Puma7 is the base of the FRITZ!Box 6591 / 66xx Cable routers.

According to the cpuid project the Puma7 is also codenamed Cougar Mountain.[1]

There's an interesting huge patch containing Puma7 code which could not be found elsewhere in the net.

Puma-History
